D.H. Blattner is building this 134-megawatt (DC) solar energy project that covers more than 750 acres in Kern County. Our work consists of solar module installation, inverters, tracking system, foundations, AC and DC collection system installation, as well as the plant commissioning and start-up.
Antelope Expansion II, 130 MEGAWATTS
D.H. Blattner built the solar photovoltaic (PV) array consisting of 403,071 solar modules on single-axis trackers. D.H. Blattner self-performed a wide range of work including road construction, MV and DC collection construction, testing and commissioning activities. This project covered an area of approximately 307 acres.
Springbok III, 121 MEGAWATTS
This D.H. Blattner project consists of four different types of solar modules, adding up to more than 291,120, of which Blattner installed. Our team also installed the single axis tracking system, AC and DC collection system, as well as the plant commissions and start-up.
Shafter Solar, 28 MEGAWATTS
D.H. Blattner’s first solar project in the state, the team installed 85,680 modules, and the single axis tracking system. Blattner was also responsible for the collection system installation and the plant commissioning and start-up.
A Better Construction Experience.®
When it comes to large, complex renewable energy projects, we’ve been there, done that. Long before many of our competitors even existed, we had decades of experience building resilient, reliable wind, solar and energy storage for our nation’s infrastructure.
